WSET Level 4 - D3 Wines of the World
The D3: Wines of the World Unit explores all grape varieties, wine regions, and wine styles not covered in D4: Sparkling Wine and D5: Fortified Wine.
Prerequisites: You must complete course work for D1 and D2 and attempt the exam for D1 before registering for this course (a passing result is not required).
Format: This hybrid format includes:
Access to WSET’s Online Classroom platform
Six live sessions in the Online Classroom led by WSA instructors
Two In-person tasting workshops
The Exam: 2-day exam comprised of two separate parts - Theory & Tasting. D3 exams can be taken in either October or May. Upcoming dates include:
Wednesday & Thursday, October 23 & 24, 2024
Day one: Theory Exam: 11am to 3:20pm
Day two: Tasting Exam: 10:30am to 2:30pm

Live WSA-led Online Zoom Sessions: Second Monday of every month, May through October, 6pm to 7pm: May 13, June 10, July 8, August 12, September 9, and October 14
In-person tasting workshops: Thursday, June 13, 10am and Monday, August 5, 10am.
