WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines

This represents the highest-level qualification of The Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). It is a demanding, specialist-level wine program designed for those seeking comprehensive education in theoretical aspects and proficiency in professional wine evaluation. Over a two-year, six-unit program, students will deepen their understanding of all facets of the wine world. Not only will you be able to identify and describe relevant grape varieties, regions, and wine styles — more importantly, you will be able to explain the impact of growing conditions, human actions, laws, even business decisions on the quality and character of the wines we drink.

How it works

The 6 Units are each studied and tested separately. D3 through D6 do not need to be taken in order. However, prior to beginning these units, D1 must be studied and sat (exam taken) and D2 studied (exam does not need to be taken) as they offer foundational knowledge relevant to all subsequent units.
