A wine’s destination is often far different than was originally plotted. Throughout the journey, many opportunities arise where it’s either naturally affected – or the winemaker’s judgment will shift the result. How can we taste the impact of these various decisions?

The tasting in this class focuses on several factors including elevation, harvesting, yeast levels and maturation vessels. All of which impact what is revealed by the time it reaches our glass.

Who should take this class:

This is a worthy study for all levels, while assuming no previous subject knowledge. This is ideal for the student’s comprehension of how and why wine is so incredibly diverse.
