The online version of the WSET Level 1 Award in Spirits offers students the opportunity to study on their own schedule over a 4-week course period. Learning is guided by an online tutor and broken into five learning modules. Interactive activities help students refine their studying and exam preparations.

This entry level course is appropriate for students who are new to the subject of spirits and seeking to learn about wine in a structured way. Students should allocate approximately 6 hours of study time to be successful in this program.
The 45-minute, 30-multiple choice certification exam can be taken online from home or in person at The Wine & Spirit Archive. Exams must be ordered at least 3. 5 weeks in advance.
