All Classes French Wine Essentials Course

Who should take this course:

The French Wine Essentials Course is appropriate for both wine professionals and inquisitive enthusiasts. Accessible to all levels, this class offers a strong foundation for understanding French wine regions, grapes, and wine styles.

About the Instructors:

In Portland: This course is taught by Cheryl Wakerhauser. Cheryl is a certified French Wine Scholar, Champagne Master, author of Modern French Pastry, owner of Pix Patisserie, and recipient of the best Champagne and Sparkling wine list in the world for 9 years in a row!

In Seattle: This course is taught by Tanya Morning Star, one of the Pacific Northwest’s most esteemed wine educators. Tanya is a Bourgogne Wine Ambassador, Champagne Wine Ambassador, and in 2018 was named French Wine Scholar Educator of the Year. In addition to teaching throughout the Pacific Northwest, Tanya also regularly guides students on educational trips throughout Italy and France.
