ONLINE WSET – Level 2 Award in Wine Course
Elevating from a strong foundation, Level 2 builds upon the basics – whether from Level 1 certification (link back to level 1 or too much?) or through personal experience & study.
Here, students will deepen their understanding, appreciation, and expertise as aspiring professionals or inspired wine buffs.
This online format offers the opportunity to learn on your own schedule over a 5-week timeline. Guided by an online tutor, it’s broken into six learning modules with interactive exercises & practice tests to help refine study and exam preparation.
Module 1: Wine & the Consumer.
Module 2: Factors affecting Quality & Style.
Module 3: Still White Varietals.
Module 4: Still Red Varietals.
Module 5: Sparkling & Fortified Wines.
Module 6: Revision & Feedback Exam.

Appropriate for those with some background in wine (or who have completed previous training such as the WSET Level 1 Award in Wine, the Introduction to Wine Series, or similar).
Industry – Anyone ready to take that next career step in restaurants, retail, winery tasting rooms, or wholesale.
Enthusiast – For those who seek greater knowledge on a subject to which they have great passion and interest.
Previous Experience? – Only students with a well-established proficiency may elect to bypass this course to enroll directly in WSET Level 3 Award in Wine.

**Students should allocate approximately 30 hours of study time to be successful in this program.
***The 1-hour, 50-multiple choice certification exam can be taken online or in-person at any scheduled exam time (clickable with link?). Once successfully completed, students receive the WSET Level 2 Award in Wine.
