In this three-part series we dive into the HOT TOPICS of the modern wine industry and explore the challenges and trends shaping the wines we so love to drink. If you enjoy stories of hysteria, deception, renegades, hullabaloos, fires and controversy, this one is for you!

Session 1: Natural Wine — A Nature vs. Nurture Story

Session 2: Climate Change, Wildfires and Surviving Environmental Impacts

Session 3: Forgery, Fraud and Fake Wine

Who should attend: This class is ideal for students who have completed the Introduction to Wine Series, Grape to Glass Series, or other wine classes, but is open to anyone with a basic understanding of wines and an eagerness to learn about the hot topics facing the wine industry today.

About the instructor: Mimi Martin is director of The Wine & Spirit Archive, is a Certified Wine Educator, and holds the WSET Diploma in Wine & Spirits.
