Friday, October 20, 2023; 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Classes held at The Wine & Spirit Archive, 3319 SE 50th Ave, Portland, OR. Tuition: $72.
If you love the wines of the Willamette Valley and want to better understand its defining soils, microclimates and the people that shape its gorgeous wines, this class is for you! Students will taste through an instructor-guided flight of wines as they taste and learn about the Willamette Valley’s history, grape varieties, terroir and traditions.
Who should take this class: This class is appropriate for all levels of wine knowledge and is ideal for the wine lover wanting to better understand what makes the Willamette Valley one of the best wine regions in the world.
About your instructor: This class is taught by Emily Zegar. Born and raised in the Willamette Valley, Emily has worked in the wine industry across 4 continents and is currently Director of Sales - Western Division at Sokol Blosser.
