Our wine tours are a little more like outdoor school, but for wine . . .

Remember when you were in school and field trip day was the absolute best day of the school year? Fast forward to today and imagine you could experience that same level of joy but also get to taste amazing Willamette Valley wine!

More than just a drive from winery to winery, our education-focused wine tours follow a field trip model with interactive, in the field/winery learning. Students in our harvest field trip will learn alongside winemaker, Alexis Harrington, how grower and winemaker decisions

Day 1: Understanding Place and Vineyard Impacts on Wine, Saturday, 1pm to 4pm

This session is all about understanding wine from the ground up. Get into the vineyard with Alexis and she guides students through the impacts of soils, clones, training, pruning and harvesting.

Day 2: The Winemaker’s Hand, Saturday, 1pm to 4pm

In this session dives into the decision-making process in the winery. Students will gain first hand experience guiding wine through the winemaking process as they explore the options available to the winemaker and their impact on the resulting style of wie.
