$35.00
Limited Availability

SESSION 3: October 26, 7pm to 8pm

SESSION 4: November 9, 7pm to 8pm

Tuition: $35 per session (inclusive of 6 wine samples)

Looking to develop or refine your wine tasting technique? Join a WSA instructor and other wine students in the Online Classroom for an All Levels Wine Tasting Tune-Up. This course is open to any wine student , but is ideal for:

— Current/recent WSET Levels 1, 2 or 3 students seeking to develop and/or refine their tasting technique

— Current WSET Level 3 students seeking to sharpen their skills before their exam (although note this is not specifically a WSET Level 3 exam prep session)

How does this work: Students will pick up mini-growlers of SIX wines between 1pm and 2pm the Sunday before class. Before meeting in the Online Classroom, students should write a full tasting note on each wine and answer guiding questions about the wines’ quality level, region of origin, grape variety and/or winemaking techniques (guiding questions will vary based on the tasting). We will use the WSET Level 3 Systematic Approach to Tasting (SAT) as our guide for these sessions.

What wines will we taste?: Each session students will taste six wines. Selected wines will be based on on the styles of wine essential to the WSET Level 2 and Level 3 curriculum and will be approximately $150 in value.
