Marcus has 24 years of experience in sake production, sales and education and is Portland's most enthusiastic and knowledgeable sake champion. Marcus was awarded the title of "Sake Samurai" by the Japanese Brewing and Shochu Association, an international award held by fewer than 50 people worldwide. He holds the WSET Level 3 Award in Sake with Distinction as well as the Advanced Sake Professional Qualification.
