from $68.00
Limited Availability
Limited Availability

January Sessions: Fridays, January 13, 20 and 27, noon to 1pm.

February Sessions: Fridays, February 10 and 17, noon to 1pm.

Tasting Fee: $34 per session. Registration is monthly (2 to 4 sessions per month — depending on the month).

These one-hour advanced tasting training sessions are ideal for higher level tasters seeking to expand their tasting skills and refine their deductive abilities. Participants will train with other advanced tasters using a rigorous and focused structure to stay on task and efficiently use deductive skills to isolate identifying features of a wine including grape variety, origin, winemaking practices and quality level.

Each training session proceeds as follows:

  • Individual evaluation of 4 to 6 blind wines in 30 minutes

  • Collaborative, team-based evaluation of the flight in 30 minutes

Topics explored each week will vary but might include flights exploring: an iconic region/country, variations of a single variety, winemaking variables, quality explorations and “mixed bag” selections.

Who should attend this tasting group: This advanced-level tasting group is open to students who are WSET Level 3 Certified. Each monthly group is limited to 12 participants.
