Wine 201 - The Unsung Wines of Europe

$95 Tuition / $160 Wines

Classic grape varieties and wine regions are classic for a region: they make great wines. But once you've got the basics down, an exploration of lesser-known wine styles can offer the jaded palate a taste of something different, and often at a wonderful price point. If you're ready to move beyond Chardonnay and Cabernet, Bordeaux and Rioja, this is the class for you!

How this works: Join into this class from the comfort of your home using Zoom (instructions for accessing the class via Zoom will be sent prior to class). Class pricing includes attendance for 1 or 2 students. Want to taste while you learn? Purchase the 9 class wines online, drive up to our outdoor wine register (it's a garage) and load into your car. Wine pick up is Thursday, April 9, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Who should attend: This class is ideal for students who have completed the Introduction to Wine Series or other wine classes, but is open to all levels. An eagerness for learning about and tasting intriguing wines is a must!

About the instructor: Mimi Martin is director of The Wine & Spirit Archive and holds the WSET Diploma in Wine & Spirits.
