Wine 201 - Exploring the Wines of Europe

$165 Tuition / $145 for Members

In this three-part series, we'll discuss and taste the Europe's most iconic wine styles as we explore the historic and classic wines of Europe. Students will learn about the origins of these classic styles, the grapes and traditions and that define them and how these styles have evolved over time. Students will also learn how to decode a European wine label so they can continue their explorations once class is over.

Students are welcome to register for individual class sessions or join us for the entire series.

Who should attend: This class is ideal for students who have completed the Introduction to Wine Series or other wine classes, but is open to anyone with a basic understanding of wines and wine tasting. An eagerness for learning about French, Italian, Spanish and German wines is a must!

About the instructor: Mimi Martin is director of The Wine & Spirit Archive and holds the WSET Diploma in Wine & Spirits.
