The World According to Riesling

$60 tuition / $50 for WSA Members

Riesling is quite possibly the world's most under-appreciated grape. So for this class, we are thrilled to have Jess Pierce -- Oregon's most ardent Riesling champion -- on board to school us in the pleasures and merits of this misunderstood grape. Join us for a discussion of Riesling's history and major growing regions as well as a guided tasting of some of Rieslings most iconic styles.

Who should attend: This class is approximate for all levels and assumes no previous knowledge of wine.

About the instructor: Jess Pierce sells and markets wines in Oregon for Walter Scott Wines and W.T. Vintners, teaches at Linfield College and makes Riesling for her own label, Pierce Wines. She holds the WSET Level 3 Award in Wine
