Our private and corporate classes are designed to be fun and interactive and provide a unique opportunity to learn about wine while getting to know your friends or colleagues better. We will work with you to design an event that meets the needs of your occasion, your guests and your budget. Most classes and events work well as 2-3 hour events, but can be scheduled to be longer or shorter depending on your needs.
private classes
Our private classes are perfect for bridal showers, birthdays, family reunions, or informal get-togethers and provide a great opportunity for your family and friends to learn about wine together. Classes are informal, fun and designed to get participants talking and sharing as they learn about wine.
For many occasions, our Introduction to Wine course is the perfect place to start, but we are also happy to design an event that specifically meets your needs. Celebrate an anniversary with our Champagne and Sparkling Wine class, start a bachelorette party with our Mixology 101 course, or have a few close friends over for a French Wine and Cheese party. Whether you are assembling a group of wine experts, novices or a combination of both, we can create an event appropriate for all levels to ensure that no one is bored and everyone learns something.
corporate events
We offer a range of corporate wine events designed to facilitate discussion and encourage networking and teamwork. We suggest a few popular options below, but find that the most successful events are individually designed with your participants and your goals in mind.
Thank You Wine Class – For Staff or Clients: What better way to thank your staff or clients than by treating them to a private wine class? Classes can precede a dinner, follow a meeting, or be the main event. Classes such as Champagne and Sparkling Wines or Luxury Wines of France are great options, or let us design a course that specifically meets your needs.
Networking Wine Event: This event is designed to get participants moving and interacting with one another. Following a short course on basic wine tasting principles, participants are each given a glass of wine. Using their newly acquired tasting skills, students must describe their wine and find the other participants in the room drinking the same wine.
Team Building Wine Event: Following a brief course in wine tasting principles, participants are broken into teams. Each team is given a set of wines and a set of wine descriptions. Working and tasting together, teams must match wines with descriptions and tackle other challenges such as deciding which bottle is the most expensive, which is from Italy, and which wine is the oldest.
