This class will introduce the complexities of Champagne, including the history, terroir and production methods that define the region. With a focus on grower-producers, this class will explore how variations in variety, soil types, vintage characteristics and length/type of aging lead to style variations across the region and across producers.

Cheryl Wakerhauser is owner of Pix Patisserie, and Bar Vivant and holds the WSET Level 3 Award in Wine & Spirits
. Her wine list was named "World's Best Champagne and Sparkling Wine List" in 2014, 2015, 2016 AND 2017 by World of Fine Wine Magazine.
