The WSA offers wine, spirit and cocktail courses ranging from introductory level classes for beginners and enthusiasts to professional certification courses for the beverage professional or those seeking to enter that industry, as well as the serious connoisseur.
Our recreational classes dispense with the myths and intimidations surrounding the world of wine and spirits and give you the tools, vocabulary and tasting skills necessary to explore and enjoy these beverages.
Our professional certification courses are geared toward industry professionals currently working or seeking to work in establishments such as restaurants, retail outlets, or wineries, or in fields such as journalism, distribution, marketing, or education. We offer the world's foremost wine certification program through The Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and are the exclusive providers of this program in the Northwest. This rigorous and challenging program is offered at the Intermediate and Advanced Levels and is internationally recognized among wine professionals and employers.
We also teach private classes in homes and businesses. Programs include corporate team building classes and events, and private wine parties for your family and friends.
